A clinical perspective on how organizations work.

Malini Ondrovcik

Experience informs the approach.

Background & approach

Understanding people.
Making the work possible.

Malini is a healthcare executive, Registered Psychotherapist and advisor with a decade of leadership experience spanning clinical operations, workforce design, program development and organizational change.

Her work has involved turning fragmented, person-dependent operations into documented processes with clearer accountability. She has developed and co-developed operational manuals, redesigned reporting relationships, supported technology-enabled workflow changes and helped bring new services into practice.

Clinical experience informs how she approaches leadership and implementation: listening to the people affected, examining practical constraints and making expectations clear. Training, communication and feedback are part of the operational work, rather than tasks left until the end.

At Vox Regent, she brings that experience to organizational consulting for healthcare practices, nonprofits and school boards.

Clinical Director

Healthcare organization · Continuous tenure with the predecessor practice began in 2016.

Malini’s responsibilities span clinical and operational planning, workforce design, policy and procedure development, quality improvement and service development. Her work includes recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, escalation pathways and collaboration with professional advisors.

She has led the clinical and staff requirements for a transition to virtual care, helped define the requirements for a reporting workflow application, and used operational indicators to identify where processes need to change.

May 2006–May 2016

Insurance Professional & Project Team Leader

Before entering healthcare, Malini worked across insurance brokerage, personal-lines underwriting and project-team leadership. This provided a foundation in a regulated business environment.

Advisory, program development & governance

Her advisory experience includes practice management and organizational design for a private psychology practice, as well as consultation on intake, process flow and appropriate boundaries for a nonprofit peer-support program.

She has developed workshops, training resources, program structures and facilitator materials across clinical, community and educational settings. Her governance experience includes board and council roles in nonprofit organizations, school advisory leadership, and participation in public education and professional regulatory committees.

These roles inform her understanding of the distinction between governance and operations, the demands placed on volunteers and the importance of communicating clearly across professional and community settings.
